• Make passion projects (with no audience) secondary
• Become part of a community (reddit/twitter,etc.)
• TikTok is a wierd, magical place
• Have a clear goal to accomplish when making content, and have that goal visible and understandable to the viewers
• Have a reason for people to watch and return
• Appreciate and thank the people who support you, you can't do it without them
